Sacramento 2-09

I had the opportunity to visit Tommy, Elizabeth and Jason in Sac'to last week. A lot of fun as usual and Jason remembers me. Our little 'connection' is displayed by Jason shaking his head back and forth - it is a game we play. That is sign language for 'grandma Clare'.

We painted the master bedroom and Elizabeth and I went to 24 hour fitness to ease our strained muscles after painting. Through it all Jason was sure he was the center of the universe.

We had a lot of fun playing. Jason is a go-go kind of guy, as is Tommy.

Wicket (aka Lassie) was a hero again. When Wicket, Elizabeth and Jason were out back and I was in making dinner, Elizabeth ran inside for a sec. I looked out and Wicket came to garage door, looked at me with a concerned face, barked and looked toward the street, then left in the same direction. I wondered if Jason could have gotten through the gate to the front. Just then Elizabeth ran back outside and there was Jason out front with Wicket pacing back and forth between him and the street. What a good big brother!

The most fun thing to do with a baby is to go out to a restaurant. This was as good as it gets and Jason was sweet when we took him with us to meet Tommy for lunch on my last day. We had the added treat of finding a dead blackbird on the sidewalk during our Jason-needs-a-break-from-the-restaurant walk.

YES WE ARE THE HAPPIEST FAMILY EVER! I like that you took alot of pictures. We don't take as many as we used to. I think I am going to join 24 hour when I get back into Sac.
