As far as the house, I think this is the last hurrah. I expect to be out by the end of November and I am just wondering where my prize money is for staying so long with so little effort. Thank heaven for bank mismanagement and overstock. But at least I feel more ready now. The black cloud of the last few years is lifting and I cannot help but wonder if I didn't have someone watching out for me and giving me this gift of time to heal. I am happy to get rid of all but my essential belongings and to start fresh. It is my life now.
Good riddance Peregrine Way. Peregrine means traveling, wandering or migrating so I suppose it is appropriate. It was truly the best and the worst life had to offer and I am happy to put it in my rearview mirror. I hope the contractors enjoy the rest of the veggies. They are awfully good.

Your tomatos look much better than ours. We had a bad crop this year with them. We did get some edamame beans which were pretty good. maybe you can sneak onto the property when no one is looking and harvest the rest of the crop!
Love the point of view. It is a sad time, but like you said, also a beginning. Go for it! -Beth
And the veggies look awesome!
