While moving my verbose friend, I have also been moving myself. So I would spend 5 hours moving me and then 5 hours moving Mima and that was on those over 100 degree days. Never fails. Anyway, I have uploaded a video to youtube (my first) which gives a tour of the place.
Someone asked where I sleep. The couch is a pull out bed and it is surprisingly comfy. Still some work to do, but the main move is accomplished. Thanks to my family always for the support. And thanks to Paul and others for doing the man help. I tried to move that green chair and could not for the life of me even get it out the bedroom door. And I never would have gotten the mattress moved to storage without help.
Now, to figure out how I am going to talk my landlady into letting me start a veg garden... Speaking of which, in the old house I have the best peppers I have ever grown! It really hurts to leave those. LOL.

Must feel good to be settled. What does she have in the garden beds now? Love the term, 'casita.' So true! And so cute!! ~~Beth
Right now the beds have gone to weeds. So, lots of potential. She had some guests in tonight and invited me. Nephew from Cabo and fam and some others. It was fun. Very nice people. Was able to hold up my part of the conversation and also follow the Spanish that was occasionally spoken.
If they aren't being tended, why not? right? Worth asking. B
Sound like nice folks to live with. And your place looks cozy. Hope things are getting better every day! Keep meaning to take a pic of our raised gardens...and my potato bags. They're outta ocntrol- were away for two weeks and came back to chaos and plants growing like mad!!!
Awesome, mom! That's a hell of a courtyard. Looks good.
