A Walk on the Beach
Meg suggested I walk, so I thought, hey, that should be done in La Jolla. When I got there I had a hankering for a beer - unusual these days believe it or not. I walked to the top of the hill and went into Crab Catcher to grab a cold one. I decided a crab bisque was a good idea, too. (This pretty much wiped out my slush fund - ok, I don't have a slush fund - it was pure waste.) I was about to walk it off, the effects of the beer anyway, and it was before my blog announcement of self-improvement, so I plunged in guilt free. Doing things alone all the time is a new experience, but one I am getting used to.

The Cove
You have to be careful during a storm - can have some mighty high tides.
Proof of visit - Elizabeth! An Asian couple took it for me after I took one of them. La Jolla is a true international destination. Most conversations were in a foreign language - Asian, Eastern Europe, European, Spanish and Indian.
The back of the beautiful La Valencia Hotel.
