If I Am Going To Live Here I Am Damn Well Going To Have A Garden

OK, I am just going to act like I belong here until the gavel actually falls. I found some plants CHEAP at Lowes because the season is so far along. I am looking forward to having a few garden eats again. Especially after shopping this week. Yikes. Veggies are pricey. I see Victory Gardens becoming popular again. But this new Square Foot Gardening Method makes it a whole lot easier.

I feel much better with a functional garden. I think I now officially have more pictures of vegetables than I do of the kids.

And thank heaven for skype - a conversation (sort of) with my grandkids and #1 son 500 miles away.
