Had a job taking photos of a house for a realtor. And some movies. I have yet to edit the movies and really don't know how so it should be interesting. The one thing of note is that the house was on the edge of civilization. At the very base of the San Gabriel Mountain Range in Rancho Cucamonga sits a lovely development and about as far north as I could go and not end up in Big Bear. I imagine they have a lively coyote population.
As I was editing the photos I realized I have no pictures of the master bedroom or bathroom. And I have no idea why. I took them. I am wondering if I left the camera on movie mode and somehow got nothing. Either way, I get to go back. Goody.
Looking pretty rugged.
I assume the fence is supposed to keep wild animals out.
Good luck with that.
And in the fun category, I get to move again! Oh yeah! Found out ten days before the auction that my landlady was having trouble paying the mortgage. Actually, it is an assumption I will always make. After all, if people are taking in renters it isn't usually because the finances are in great shape. I attended the auction to make sure it was not postponed. It was in a lovely spot outside the courthouse in Corona. As I was sitting there I saw a feather fall from the tree. I looked up and what did I see but a vulture. How metaphorical.
Today, much to my landlady's chagrin, the neighbors found out she lost her house. She is not one to want that news out, but too late. We are on a cul de sac of healthy retired people so any news is welcome and bad news is more interesting anyway. My car being smashed by a drunk driver was a real hit. I never plan to retire. Two of the men, one of whom is pushing 90, have removed 3 or 4 trees in the last few months and are the go-to guys for sprinkler repair. They could run a handyman service if they wanted, but they don't want.
I am moving across town. The people are gone a lot and want someone in their home so hopefully money is not the main issue there. Although I am about done with this insecure life. Trying my best to get myself in a position of strength.
Arrivederci baby (I believe that is the name of a movie with Tony Curtis - I really need to watch it sometime). Ci vediamo più tardi (I think).

Good luck with the move, Clare. Moving sucks and you've done more than your share. Hope you get to settle in. Having the house to yourself every once in awhile sounds like a great gig. Beth
And wow! weird about the vulture.
Hate to hit the haha button over your misfortunate move and all, but really you just are so funny to read! Good luck! bonnie
