Escape to Rockport

I took a much needed mental health break to visit my family in Rockport, MA. It has been so nice I have extended it a week - a first for me. It is Spring so it goes back and forth between rainy and cold, and clear and quite cool. Luckily there is no slush and snow so my California loafers are OK for this environment.

My dad celebrated his 83rd birthday on the 30th with a party on the 29th. He cooked meatballs and spaghetti and a good time was had by all. Ellen celebrates her 50th on the 4th of April, and will be in FL to do so - working, but with Rusty by her side.

Other highlights included a trip to the Home and Garden Show in Gloucester, hanging out at a coffee shop, dinner at Beth's, going to Pat's fundraiser, taking pictures around Rockport with Danny, breaks failing on Dad's car and Tim's little accident with a scissors on his toe. The fun never ends.
