It was a real treat to be able to attend a large Thanksgiving dinner with my family, cousins, friends and some of the steps (stepsiblings). There hasn't been a raucous T-day in this house since Tim had his first stroke so this one was very special.
The living room was cleared out and seating areas were created in odd spots to make room for the five tables that made up the feast.

Steps, friends and girlfriends
Of the four in the picture three have had husbands leave them for other women and in one case another man. One tires of weak men.
It wouldn't be T-day without some live music

Rusty and Ellen

I DO remember how to smile!

Young 'uns

Step-girlfriend and Ellen

Wow

Lucy, John and Ellen backed by the ancestors, hopefully they are happy with what they see

Family fun

The girls
(Lucy has us laughing about our John Irvingesque family)

The boys

The feast

The table as it should be, full of love and laughter and wine, of course

Speaking of wine

And if you are wondering who all the steps are:
Richard
John
Mary
Joan
Sam
Tim
Lucy
Phoebe
Clare
Hugh
Beth
Ellen
Chris
Ann
Peter
Bill

Anytime Liz!! I was there....I swear - just no pictures of me! It was the best pot luck dinner I've ever attended! 8 women, 3 kitchens and lots of love.
Wonderful Thanksgiving- what a crew! You all look great!
