Fear and Loathing

This may qualify as TMI but below is an example of what it looks like when I try a new medium. This is a watercolor pencil which I actually bought accidentally. This is so bad I was thinking of calling it "Fear and Loathing on Plum Island". Oh man! A little scary. You expect a tree to reach down and grab your hand... or maybe a flying monkey. Looks lively though (see how easy I am on myself), Truly awful!

Back to the drawing board...literally

Phoebe is exhibiting at the Rittenhouse Square Art Show in Philadelphia this weekend. I was looking for a webcam to see if I could view Rittenhouse Square live but no luck. However, I came across a hawk cam at the Franklin Institute. They set up the webcam on the windowsill the birds are nesting on. Therer are 3 babies who look like they will be flying any day now. Don't miss the action. http://www.fi.edu/hawks/

And as a post script; this blog is feeling less like therapy and more like journaling. Finally.
