Back To Nature

No, there are no naked pictures (consider yourselves lucky). But there is the garden. When I could not get excited about anything I could get excited about the garden and now that I FINALLY found a decent garden system that is EASY and WORKS it is much, much more fun. SO I give you: the current garden.

My box o' taters. They are actually a lot bigger than this now. When I leave here, the taters come with me.

Had a nice garden salad, literally. Edible podded peas, three kinds of lettuce, a carrot, spinach and beet greens. I zapped the peas for 30 seconds to bring out their sweetness. Really good - that and the 'artisan bread' (Seriously? Artisan?) slathered with butter made a great dinner. Now, where are the garden cookies? Hey, don't think I didn't look into growing chocolate.

And in the spirit of throwing it all out there and seeing what sticks, I am offering to set gardens up for others, insisting on using my method (Square Foot Gardening). Had a few cards made at Vista print. Tell your friends...
