Anyway, with that in mind, I will share my latest triumph. It was a joke I thought of, and I am sure I am not the first. Just thinking of it made me laugh but I realized that there was still only one person I could safely share it with and know he would a) get it, and more importantly b) think it was funny - even coming from me.

And can you guess who that went to? Yes, my son Tommy. And I was rewarded with:
LOL. Do I know my son or what?
I actually sent one to Tom too, but I assume he just thought I was insane and that it was not amusing, but hey, maybe he laughed. My work is done.

On an "Aha, I knew it wasn't just me" note. My landlady said she recently deleted the 1000 job applications that she has submitted over the last year or so. So it is definitely tough out there. So far she has managed to snag one ten hour a week Christmas job. OK, a downer after all that tear producing laughter, I realize. I will think of something funnier for next time.

And on the plus side, I talked myself into a job that looks like it might expand. I am helping someone launch their website that markets vacation villas. She is starting with Mexican villas and will be branching out. So I may become self sufficient sooner rather than later. Yay. And for the 'art' portion of this entry I give you: Palmasola - a place for you and 19 of your closest friends with a private beach, chef and so much more. When you split it 20 ways, it is like an expensive hotel - but way better.
