I went to a temp agency to sign up last week. As part of the process one takes a test. Silly crap really; adding, subtracting, multiplying, spelling and grammar. When the guy saw the results he said "This is the highest grammar score I have ever seen." LOL Oh my. You couldn't prove it by this blog. I still see stuff when I look through that I have to correct.
He said he didn't think they were teaching grammar in the schools anymore. He may be right. If only good grammar were a fast track to money somehow... If anything this tells me how badly I have been underachieving. Yikes. Hard to match any of my talents with anything that makes any money at all. But I can certainly sit in a cubicle and solve problems or push papers or whatever and at this point survival is still the driving factor. After that, maybe I will be able to think clearly. Although I have yet to accomplish that, so not holding my breath. :)

not bad especially considering the last time you took a test was how many years ago??? Good luck on the jobs!! xxoo Beth
Ditto what Beth said! Hope you "score" a job as well!!!! Keeping fingers crossed, and saying a prayer that this temp agency (and the guy who you so impressed) finds you a position- one that parlays into a full time spot!!!
Well, my last test was the DMV and I got 100 because I went in with the attitude that a) they have no sense of humor and b) they do not give a rats ass about what is practical, only uber safety. With those two things in mind, it was a cinch. Thanks for the encouraging words. Something's got to give.
