Ah Christmas. It has changed for me - much easier than it used to be. Jean does what I used to do: wait to wrap until the kids are in bed on Christmas Eve. As it turned out, I had the only tape in the house so she borrowed it for wrapping. After wrapping Grecia's present she got distracted and then could not find the tape. We looked everywhere but it was misplaced so she had to go out at 10pm on Christmas Eve and buy more. The next morning when Grecia opened his gift, guess what fell out? The tape. Pretty funny. She has become the absent minded professor.
It looks like we have quite a crowd and I guess we do. These stockings represent Tommy's family, who will arrive later, Jean and Grecia's family and me.
Our minimalist tree. The bottom is left blank on purpose due to dog curiosity. After being at Beth's I am ashamed of our lame efforts.

On the left is Pasha's gift to Keith and on the right is mine. I had originally gotten him a juggling set and when I saw this I thought, "He'll love this!"
And later....

Swordplay as Lyla looks on. We now have enough swords to arm the entire neighborhood should we be attacked by nerf people.

Christmas nap - only one of them is faking. Tommy is learning the exhaustion of being a father.
Tommy and Keith choreographed a sword fight which they later put on for all of us - it had a joke ending, of course. Unfortunately I did not capture it on film (or should I say, digitally)
