I Can't Give You Anything But Love...And a Painting

Jean is 31 today! How'd that happen? I felt I needed to give her something meaningful, yet am working with a rather cash poor situation, so decided that I might be up to doing a painting that I thought she would enjoy.

Fear struck, because I am not really at a 'professional' place yet, but decided that fear was going to have to take a back seat. Plus, I could always replace it later. I figured when she is 40 I can really give her something decent.

Below is that gift. A painting of Thatcher Island. Need to work on several things, I found, but now I know.
Luckily I had the frame on hand and that always takes a painting up a notch in credibility.

What a great idea and something she will always cherish. Very nice. Love the rocks. (from me she got an email....you win!)
