Fantasy Garden

My newest painting. I think I am beginning to detect a style. This one is for Joan. I have always thought she deserved a great view from the kitchen window. This is (one of) my visions for that view, building from existing items and known plans. It is a blank slate waiting for a gardener's touch. And so much easier and cheaper in canvas form than in actual digging, amending, buying and planting. Phoebe has given her a view also. It was a lot of fun to do a joint project with individual visions. Although our visions turned out to be quite similar.

If there was not a time limit I might have fixed the rhododendron and all of the colors and the detail and perspective and..., mais, c'est la vie.
